Youth-Horizons Scholarship: Empowering Resilience in Youth Facing Concurrent Disorders
If you or someone you know have overcome challenges related to mental health and addiction, the Youth-Horizons scholarship is here to recognize your courage and resilience and give you a little extra boost 🌟.
A collaborative project of the Expertise and Collaboration Center for Concurrent Disorders, the scholarship was designed by and for young people who have lived or are living with concurrent disorders.
Eligible participants could receive $1,000 to help with the continuation or resuming of their studies this fall. Whether enrolled in an adult education program, CEGEP, or university in a field related to social services (nursing, social work, peer support, intervention, etc.), this scholarship is for you!
What’s more, applicants can share their experiences with us in their own special way, whether it be through a traditional essay format, a poem, some artwork, etc. Any form of communication goes.
